We are regular customers, eating in the restaurant every fortnight or so. This evening we were served by Anastasia (or similar, sorry). She is always smiley and professional. She had a particularly tough time dealing with a family of six that had an issue. She remained calm and diplomatic and eventually handed the issue over to her manager. Five stars for her professionalism and consistency in customer service.

Excellent Sunday lunch. Barely more expensive than our local pubs but really good food and also service. Nearby free parking on a Sunday too!

We had the most amazing stay here! I had booked a double room for me and my partner for his birthday and had mentioned in the notes that we were celebrating his birthday. Upon check in we had realised that we’d been upgraded to the penthouse suite for free! The room was stunning and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We had planned to go out for dinner but didn’t want to leave the room so ended up ordering food to the hotel. After checking out we went for a wander around romsey and had a lovely day. The location was really good. Best hotel stay we’ve ever had. We will definitely be back.

We came for food as recommended by the hotel we were in. We are both vegetarian and los of great options. I had one of the specials, my wife the mushroom burger. Served quickly and the food was fantastic. Two puddings followed. Lovely experience and great staff, you may need to call in advance as the place was busy! Always a good sign!

Great hotel and very friendly helpful staff, Highly recommended. Beware parking is limited in Romsey especially when the town centre has an event on. Never found a hotel car park and no details on the web page so I'm guessing there isn't one. Breakfast was a little disappointing although nice it seemed to be steamed cooked as nothing was crispy, coffee was weak as and room coffee far superior however saying this I would status hotel game and I will be booking again in the future. Rooms are very good and clean top marks here as well as the rest of the hotel, cleaning staff do a fantastic job !

Would just like to say what a Wonderful time we had at this Hotel this weekend 21st-23rd Nov.2025. We stayed in rom 104, it was warm and cosy, with Butterfly Pictures around the room. They would've suited my bedroom at home. Friendly Staff, Lovely food, Great Customer Service 2nd to none. The Fine Dining Family Evening Meal, the night before the Wedding was a tasty experience. We were allowed to vacate the area in our own time, and retire to our rooms for a nights sleep. Breakfast the next morning was scrummy, with many Delights to choose from, many cooked choices, various Cereals, Toast, & Continental available with Charcuterie and sweet buns as well ! It was a wet day, we all managed to stay dry. The Bride & Groom were looked after like Royalty. The Event in the Barn was superb with a delicious Wedding Breakfast. Then the Disco to follow. Yowards the end of the evening, while in the barn, l suffered a slipped tendon in my knee. This was at the end of the evening. The Staff and Management were very supportive and gave all help necessary to make me comfortable. With their help, l was assisted yo the main part of the hotel, where l was made comfortable. I would like to thank the Management for their help that Evening, particularly Callum, the night Porter. He made me feel more comfortable with his assistance and support during what could've been a more stressful time. The next morning, a few of the Staff who had heard of my incident asked after me, even one who had been on duty the night before, enquired how l was. I felt rather humbled. Thankyou ALL so much. I do hope we can return one of the days. I cannot Thankyou enough, and would give more Stars if l could.

Really beautiful setting. Well-presented and comfortable beds. Lovely place to stay. Can't recommend this enough. Please stay here. We will be back. Doesn't have parking, but that shouldn't stop you. There is car parking not far away.

Great place to visit. Hotel steeped in history, warm friendly place. Barman knows his stuff. Town small but full of lovely shops, plus usual ones. Abbey is the oldest we've visited. Streets have local peoples odes, poems, observations inlaid into pavings, interesting finding them.
